Meghana Chandra
Meghana is a mixed-methods researcher who focuses on understanding access to coverage and care.
Meghana is a research scientist specializing in health care delivery research, with a strong focus on implementation science and consumer behavior. Her work examines how health policies and delivery system reforms translate into real-world practice and how consumers navigate coverage and care.
At NORC, Meghana has led mixed-methods studies on coverage transitions for Medi-Cal beneficiaries, spearheaded analysis of Covered California’s annual member survey, and contributed to evaluations of innovative delivery system reforms such as the Evaluation of the Pennsylvania Rural Health Model. She also brings expertise in large-scale health data projects, including the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) and AHRQ’s social determinants of health database.
Before joining NORC, Meghana practiced law as an international trade and project finance attorney, with a focus on dispute settlement at the World Trade Organization, bringing a unique global perspective to her health policy research.
