Jennifer Vanicek
Jennifer is associate project director for two large, national data collection projects. She oversees data collection and interviewer recruitment and training for the Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey (MCBS), a national, in-person, longitudinal survey of Medicare beneficiaries. She also oversees data collection for the Reproductive Health Experiences and Access survey, a mixed-mode, multi-year survey designed to measure the impact of state-level policy changes on reproductive health services and outcomes. She has managed implementation of a wide range of innovations across projects, including expanding multi-mode data collection, implementing physical measures data collection, and novel approaches to respondent outreach and mailings. Jennifer also has extensive experience in questionnaire development and testing, data collection systems management, and data cleaning and delivery. She is also a certified project management professional (PMP).
At NORC, Jennifer has worked on a variety of health care and public health projects, specializing in multi-mode data collection (field, telephone, web, and mail) and surveys of hard-to-reach populations. For these projects, she has helped develop and streamline questionnaire testing, data quality monitoring, and data delivery procedures. Prior projects have included the Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health across the U.S. (REACH U.S.) Risk Factor Survey, the National Immunization Survey (NIS), the First 5 LA Family Survey, the American Health Values survey, and the New York City Housing Authority Mayor’s Action Plan Resident Survey.
