Her aging-focused work includes leadership roles on the CMS GUIDE Model Regional Learning System, California Department of Aging: Access to Technology Evaluation, and a task with CMS to support the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers. Since 2010, Jennifer has led multiple workstreams on the National Social Life, Health and Aging Project (NSHAP), a large-scale longitudinal and population-based survey of health and social factors aiming to understand the well-being of older, community-dwelling Americans. Jennifer led the COVID-19 Sub-study, data delivery for multiple rounds, and efforts to link NSHAP data with CMS and National Death Index data.

Jennifer has managed all aspects of survey design and data collection on several mixed-methods health care evaluations, including the Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA) Behavioral Health Workforce (BHW) Substance Use Disorder Evaluation, the Substance Use Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act Evaluation, and the COVID-19 Health Assessment and Mitigation Planning Survey (CHAMPS) that is part of the Evaluation and Monitoring Support of the National COVID-19 Resiliency Network (NCRN).

Jennifer’s management experience also includes large-scale efforts, serving as deputy data team manager for the All of Us Participant & Partner Services Center and project manager for the ASPE Science and Data Policy (SDP) Research and Analysis contract.
